What will you do?

As a Jr. Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for initiating, coordinating, and implementing improvement projects from A to Z for the Ewals Group. You will contribute to optimizing logistics services and perform analytical assignments.
You will enjoy a lot of freedom and variety in your role and work closely with Operations, Procurement, IT, and sometimes directly with customers.

You will achieve this by:

  • Analyzing logistics networks and supply chain flows and developing strategic improvement proposals;
  • Creating tools and dashboards to support decision-making and performance tracking;
  • Designing solutions that make internal and external processes more efficient;
  • Supporting tenders and carrier procurement with analyses and implementations;
  • Contributing to improvement events at customer locations with data-driven optimizations. For this, you will travel internationally on a regular basis.

Together, you work on tactical and strategic improvements that truly make a difference for our customers. You bring:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Business Economics, IT, or similar (0–3 years of experience);
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office;
  • Technical skills: programming in VBA and/or Python and knowledge of AI is a big plus;
  • Ability to create visualizations and dashboards;
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10% per year, mainly for improvement events).
