Senior Financial Controller

As a Senior Financial Controller, you are more than a finance expert, you are a trusted advisor who turns data into impactful business decisions. You provide proactive insights and challenge the status quo, helping both finance and business teams perform at their best.You play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, while actively partnering with stakeholders across the organization to create real value.

Your work directly contributes to stronger financial performance, smarter decision-making, and long-term growth. This role offers a high level of ownership and independence, giving you the autonomy to drive improvements, identify risks early, and implement smarter, more efficient ways of working. You will continuously look for opportunities to optimize processes and strengthen financial control, making a visible impact on the organization.

About the department

You will join our Financial Operations team, a group of dedicated professionals passionate about accuracy, improvement, and collaboration. The team values open communication, personal responsibility, and continuous learning. Together, you work closely with business stakeholders to support informed decision‑making and financial stability.

Education: A university degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is a strong advantage)

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Financial Controller or similar role, with proven ability to take ownership and drive results

Languages: Good command of Slovak and English (minimum C1 level) to collaborate effectively in an international environment

Technical expertise:

• Strong knowledge of accounting and controlling principles
• Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS standards
• Experience with ERP systems and financial tools

Digital skills: Advanced user of MS Office, especially Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data
