As Application Development Engineer, you will be committed to the in-house development of applications that support the core processes of Ewals Cargo Care.

How will you make impact?

We are recruiting a flexible and out-of-the-box thinking Application Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing novel and state-of-the-art process solutions. You will enjoy exposure to the complete Ewals organization and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design MVPs, and bring new solutions to production.

What will you do?

• Invent/ develop new applications and processes  – or continuously improve existing ones
• Tackle complex issues by structuring, analyzing and evaluate data
• Closely work together with stakeholders and draft specifications for developments required
• Manage the complete DTAP – street together with the Engineering team
• Provide training and support to stakeholders to evaluate the efficacy of developed products
• Work in a team applying the agile methodology

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master background in Engineering,  IT, SW, Technology or similar with 0 – 3 years’ work experience (experience in the logistics industry is a preference)
• Excellent level of the English language – other languages are a pre
• Affinity with project management and change management – able to make the connection between business and IT
• Proven experience with programming languages – mixture of low and high coding will be applicable (Python, SQL, C#)
• Preferably experience React to build userinterfaces
• Understanding of the development, impact and actuality of AI
• Hands-on mentality aligned with our company culture
• Think out-of-the-box and able to regard things from a broad spectrum of perspectives
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (both internal and external)
