Sales Manager

In this role as Sales Manager you’re part of our Ewals Cargo Care team in Barcelona.

Whilst bigger organisation are dedicated to the systematic approach we excel in serving local and global customers with our customized approach. We develop multimodal and road solutions to connect the South of Europe with the North in both sides.

 

How will you make an impact?

In this role you excel in sales. We seek someone who can identify and develop new business and setup a new customer portfolio. You will have a direct impact on Cataluña and Levante area revenue goals. You’re part of a small team of 5 employees reporting into our Manager Sales.

The team has direct communication is very informal with a personal touch and supports each other in broader team goals.

What will you do?

  • Pro-actively recruit new prospects and customers according to Ewals' commercial strategy.
  • Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities; meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organization.
  • Responsibility for the process and follow-up of tenders.
  • State-of-the-art multimodal and road transport market knowledge to develop new business opportunities.
  • Close cooperation with the operational team and the Region South sales department of Ewals.

 

How will you get there?

  • You have a completed  bachelor (HBO) education in the direction of Transport, Logistics, Commerce or Business Administration or your career shows experience in expanding sales or business development.
  • You have commercial work experience in transportation solutions.
  • You master the English language very well; Spanish is preferred.
  • You have knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • You can work independent in business development.
  • You recognize opportunities that benefit the organization and see it as a challenge to convert them into real successes.
  • You easily connect with others. You are customer-oriented and you are well able to translate customer problems into solid supply chain solutions.
